Gospel is GOD-CENTERED
When you study the Bible it is clear that Gospel is not about a man. Gospel is not about people showing love for God ( Caring, being Kind), Gospel is not about having the love for God ( Ministry, going to church), going further, the most famous lingo in the place I come from is, God loves you. God cares for you.
In one article vividly puts it this way,
In the new man-centered view of God, love is the first and foremost attribute of God. It is primary. “God isn’t mad at you. He loves you with unconditional love, and He longs to help you and to meet your needs” is the substance of much of the preaching today, particularly much of the evangelism these days. But, it is a love out of context.
God, not man is the center of the gospel
God, not man is the center of the gospel. Let’s quickly see what the bible says about this, In fact, Jesus himself preached the gospel of God. ( Mark 1:14).
Apostle Paul was set apart for the gospel of God ( Romans 1:1) and share with the people of Thessaloniki (1 Thes 2:8) that he entrusts with, Gospel of the glory of the blessed God (1 Tim 1:11)
Gospel is GOD centric and for a born-again Christian, the world around us must revolve around it. Aren’t you convinced? I know you are still stuck at the question of, Doesn’t god love and care for people? He does. But it is not the Gospel.
